중요한 대목은 다음과 같다고 생각합니다. 먼저, 창조자가 네오에게 "매트릭스는 네가 알고 있는 것보다 오래되었어."라는 부분... 이것은 모피어스가 네오에게 말해줬던 매트릭스의 역사와 현실이 사실과는 다른 것임을 말해주고 있습니다. 즉, 매트릭스는 기계들이 인간들을 에너지원으로 사용하기 위해 만들어진 것이 아닐 수 있다는 것입니다.
다음으로 창조자와 오라클이 상호보완적인 별개의 프로그램일 가능성... 창조자는 수학적인 완벽함에 근거한 고수준의 사고를 바탕으로 하지만 오라클은 더 낮은 수준이지만 직관을 바탕으로 해답을 제시한다는 부분. 창조자가 매트릭스의 아버지이고 오라클이 어머니라는 것은 둘이 상호보완적으로 작용해서 매트릭스를 발전시켜 나간다는 것을 생각하게 합니다.
" 너보다 앞선 다섯의 선배들은 너희들 종족의 나머지들을 무차별하게 대하도록 짜여진 경험에 기초했지. 구세주의 역할을 충족시키는... 다른 '그들'이 이것을 아주 보편적인 방식으로 경험했지만 네가 경험한 것들은 아주 특이하지."라는 부분. 네오 이전의 '그들'은 인류모두를 평범하게 대하도록 경험받았고(이 경험 자체가 프로그램에 의해 제공됨) 따라서 그렇게 행동했지만 네오의 경우는 다르게 경험(사랑)을 제시받았다는 것을 말해줍니다. 결국 트리니티가 매트릭스에 뛰어든 것은 네오에게 제시된 하나의 경험(네오의 선배들의 경험과는 다른)입니다.
"그렇지만 우리는 네가 어떤 선택을 할지 알고 있어. 그렇지 않나? 반응이 나타나고 있군. 화학적 요선봉은 논리와 이성을 짓누르도록 설계된 감정을 만들어내지." 창조자는 이미 네오가 트리니티를 구하러 갈 것을 예측하고 있고 그는 이것을 화학적이고 물리적인 작용에 의한 과정으로 이해합니다. 결국 창조자가 생각하기에 네오는 사랑이라는 경험(트리니티와의 사랑, 그리고 트리니티가 자신을 구하기 위해 매트릭스로 뛰어들었다는 상황)을 겪었기 때문에 그런 경험을 하지 않은 선배들과는 다르게 트리니티를 구하러 갈 것을 알고 있다고 생각합니다. 네오의 선배들로부터 수집한 정보들에 의한 창조자의 행동예측이 들어맞는 장면이죠.
제가 내린 결론은 3편에서는 마치 오시이마모루의 영화 '아발론'과 같은 상태로 끝나지 않을까? 즉, 도대체 뭐가 현실이고 뭐가 가상현실인지조차 알수 없는 상태에서 애매하게 끝나는.... 그러나 오시이가 얘기했듯이 여주인공인 '애쉬'가 실존인물인 것은 확실하다는... 그런 상태... 만약 그렇다면 다른 인물들이 실존인물인지 아닌지는 알 수 없고 다만 네오만은 실존인물이다... 그런 식의 결론이 되나요? 하여간에 매트릭스가 인간들을 에너지원으로 사용하기 위해 만들어진 것은 아닌 것 같네요. 아마 창조자와 오라클은 상호 보완적이면서도 상호 경쟁하면서 인간을 이해하고 궁극적 시스템을 만들기 위한 목적으로 인간에 의해 만들어진 프로그램일지도 모르겠군요.
